Maximum Force Capacity of a Latch Definition
The purchaser and/or user of Stillwell Inc. clamp products agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stillwell Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to the misapplication, misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modification of the clamp products. This includes, but is not limited to, any failure to adhere to instructions provided, specifications, safety guidelines, or applicable laws and regulations. Stillwell Inc. makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the suitability of its products for any particular application, and the purchaser/user assumes all risks associated with their use.

The maximum force that can be applied without causing permanent deformation.
All published forces consider a safety factor of 1X; the maximum force should never be exceeded. Each application is unique and can affect safety factors.
